You Have to Want It

Before you consider therapy for your relationship you have to look inside. There is no substitute for your own resolve to have a fulfilling, joyful, and happy relationship.

Mindset Shift

Happy couples aren't happy by accident and they aren't happy because their spouse, boyfriend, or girlfriend are perfect. Those images of elderly married couples holding hands are not the result of some type of good luck or fortune.

The truth is successful relationships are nothing more than an achieved goal. There is no mystery or secret, and no other human being or couple out there has anything you don't. People find themselves in fulfilling relationships because they make it happen. It is all up to you.

The Process

Step One: Intake and Assessment as a couple

Step Two: Each person will have an individual session with the therapist

Step Three: Therapist will work together with the couple in ongoing sessions

The number of sessions to expect will vary as each couple is different. You will work with your therapist to gauge progress, discuss expectations, and to collaborate with your treatment. Generally, we try to get you initial noticeable, palpable results in 6-12 weeks. Note: affair recovery generally takes time.

Our Experience and Training

We are licensed therapists, have seen countless couples, and are trained in Gottman Method and Internal Family Systems (IFS).

More About Us

We are a boutique and local speciality practice. We are NOT your big-box mental health practice. We take pride in providing you the absolute best and most personalized mental health service in a secure, private, and welcoming environment.

Expectations

Our approach is straightforward and focused on achieving results. The process may be uncomfortable, challenging, or difficult. We are here to help you and sometimes getting help isn't fun (although we value light-heartedness). Your engagement and commitment at the biggest variables.

Disclaimers

We cannot guarantee any results. If you or your partner are actively engaged in an extra-marital affair, we are unable to work with you.

Payment and Insurance

We currently do not accept insurance for couples. Couples who invest in themselves generally achieve greater results. Additionally, insurance is based on the dated, medical model of mental health treatment which requires diagnoses, limits the flexibility of treatment, and is not completely private and confidential.

Our rates are: $200/couples intake, $165/each following session.

Good Faith Estimate

Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in a plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage both orally and in writing of their ability, upon request or at the time of scheduling health care items and services, to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit http://www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
